Jon is now the head of photography at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance (from So You Think You Can Dance Australia), is the official photographer for Miss World Victoria and has also taken the winning photo in the Keune Tinta Colour Trophy hairstyling awards for Victoria. CONCEPT:
Jon Lee Photography was formed initially to produce distinctive and professional portofolios for established or aspiring models, actors, singers or dancers at the most affordable prices in Australia. While fashion and beauty is still a primary focus, we have since expanded our services to include commercial shooting for clients such as clothing companies, hair salons, bars and restaurants for catalogues, websites, advertising campaigns & fashion parades, and we now also do weddings, babies & children, family portraits and musicians/bands. Jon will now run most portfolio shooting through the Ministry agency as it sources work for models, dancers, singers and actors. The models featured range from established print and catwalk models to people new to the industry. In particular, Jon Lee Photography aims to cater for, in addition to the “usual” models, “different” models – eg. inexperienced models, shorter models, ethnic models, models with piercings and tattoos, and specialty models (Face, body, hand etc.) that are traditionally shunned by standard agencies. We believe if you have the look that sells the product, you shouldn't be discriminated against.
